Online Safety

There are serious dangers associated with social media and the ease at which teens have access to drugs such as fentanyl. Let's look at a few things to help you and your loved ones stay informed regarding online safety for the whole family.

Communication is Key

This is the most important tip we can give you. Have your teen show you the apps they are using, show an interest and let them explain how it works. Let this be the initial steps to opening lines of communication for being safe and the potential dangers they may face. Don't ban it & don't be judgmental as this may cause them to hide what they do from you.

Be open and let them know they can always come to you with concerns.
